Businesses Providing Safe Drinking Water was introduced to educators throughout New York State via a satellite-broadcast videoconference on March 19, 2003. The videoconference was a train-the-trainer event during which we walked the participating educators through the use of the materials and described our experience piloting the materials. Approximately 70 educators viewed the broadcast from Cornell Cooperative Extension offices in 20 New York counties and from Rhode Island, Texas, Pennsylvania and the US Environmental Protection Agency Region 2 office in New York City.
